Knoxville, TN – August 25, 2025 – To support voter turnout and ensure access to polling stations, Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) is pleased to announce that all transit rides, including KAT’s Lift service, will be fare-free on Election Day, August 26th.
KAT’s regular schedules and routes will be followed on Election Day. Riders can find route and schedule information on the KAT website or by using the Transit app, available for download on both Android and iOS devices.
