Knoxville, TN – September 2, 2025 – Knoxville Area Transit (KAT) is pleased to announce University of Tennessee Home Football Gameday service options as we gear up for the Fall season. There will be 3 options for attendees to get to and from the game.
UT Football Shuttles
These shuttles will begin three (3) hours prior to kickoff and will run continuously until game time. Return shuttle service will begin during the fourth (4th) quarter and continue for approximately 60 minutes after the game.
For every home game, a shuttle will pick-up at Market Square (Krutch Park) and drop off at the Walters Life Sciences Building. The return shuttle will pick-up at the Walters Life Sciences Building and drop off at Market Square (Krutch Park).
For SEC games only, a shuttle will pick-up at Willow Avenue near Covenant Health Park and drop-off at Walters Life Sciences Building. The return shuttle will pick-up at the Walters Life Sciences Building and drop-off at Willow Avenue near Covenant Health Park.
The price to ride the shuttle is $10 round-trip per person. The shuttles will remain cashless. Shuttle tickets will only be available for purchase through our official app, Transit.
Knoxville Civic Auditorium and Coliseum Park and Ride
We are excited to announce a new park and ride option available at Knoxville Coliseum Garage A and B. Gameday attendees will pay a $25 flat-rate fee per vehicle, which will include a round-trip ride to and from the game. Please be aware that the Civic Coliseum Garages are cashless.
The shuttle will pick-up between Civic Coliseum Garages A and B and drop-off at the Walters Life Sciences Building. The return shuttle will pick-up at Walters Life Sciences and return to Civic Coliseum Garages. Shuttle service will begin 3 hours before kickoff and will run continuously until game time. The return shuttle will begin at the start of the fourth (4th) quarter and run until approximately 60 minutes after the game.
LIFT (paratransit) services will be available at the Coliseum Garage pick-up for all home games except the September 6th game. The LIFT vehicle will drop-off at Gate A21. On the return trip, LIFT will pick-up at Gate A21 and return to drop-off at the Coliseum Garage A and B.
Fixed-Route Services
Gameday attendees can utilize the regular fixed-route service for trips to and from the game. A day-pass can be purchased for $2 via the Transit app and is valid for unlimited rides on the day of activation.
All Saturday routes come to Knoxville Station. From there, gameday attendees can connect to Routes 11, 12, or 15 and get off at Cumberland at James Agee. This is approximately a two-block walk to Neyland Stadium. To return, only Route 11 will pick up at Cumberland at Phillip Fulmer. The last pick-up time is 11:00 PM, and the last departure of the night for Route 11 leaves Knoxville Station at 11:15 PM. (Routes 12 and 15 will be on detour).
