Snow Route

There will be no service to the University of Tennessee Campus (Cumberland Avenue, 17th Street). Access to Food City will be through a temporary stop on Western Avenue. No service will be provided on Middlebrook Pike, Citico Street, or Twenty-First Street.

Severe Snow Route:

Route 12 will use Henley to Western to the Walmart on McKamey, and the reverse inbound.

Severe Snow Routes

If weather conditions become severe, KAT may begin running on Severe Snow Routes. When this happens, service will ONLY be provided on the major corridors of Knoxville. This includes: Route 11: Sutherland/Kingston Pike, Route 12: Western Avenue, Route 22: Broadway, Route 31: Magnolia Avenue, and Route 41: Chapman Highway.

During Severe Snow Routes, all passengers ride free, but please note: KAT can return to Snow Routes before a passenger’s return trip and the passenger will be required to pay regular fare for that portion of the trip.
