Currently Operating on a Reduced Service Schedule
Due to our on-going workforce shortage we are reducing the frequency on the Orange Line Trolley:
- Reduced frequency from every 15 to every 30 minutes with all Trolley service ending at 8 p.m. on weekdays and Saturdays.

Please note: Trolleys do not run on Saturdays when there is a UT home football game or on Sundays.
Snow Route
No service on Clinch Avenue or 11th St. No service to University Commons.
Severe Snow Routes
If weather conditions become severe, KAT may begin running on Severe Snow Routes. When this happens, service will ONLY be provided on the major corridors of Knoxville. This includes: This includes: Route 11: Kingston Pike (to Walker Springs), Route 41: Chapman Highway (to Walmart), Route 31: Magnolia Avenue (to Burns), Route 22: Broadway (to Essary), and Route 12: Western Avenue (to I-640 Plaza).
During Severe Snow Routes, all passengers ride free, but please note: KAT can return to Snow Routes before a passenger’s return trip and the passenger will be required to pay regular fare for that portion of the trip.
